I have always created my own circumstances in both life and career. I apply that same approach as founder and CEO of the award-winning Flavor Group creative agency and make a professional habit of upending people’s expectations.
I’m the guy who graduated early from college with a degree in Neuroscience, road tripped out to San Francisco, and began a promising career as a scientist. I’m also the guy who got canned a few months later as my obsession with Bay Area nightlife was a tough fit with a 9-to-5 and a lab coat.
Flavor Group was born out of my immersion in the San Francisco underground and the agency still draws from that boundless creative energy.
We’re a creative agency with 16 years of experience blending storytelling and technology to create innovative campaigns for brands that resonate online and off. We produced the first global hip hop program with Red Bull, created the first mobile phone fan-made music video for Tiesto and SanDisk, and launched Uniqlo’s flagship west coast store with Joe Montana.
My latest venture, Up All Night, is radically changing how people experience concerts, festivals and events.
I’ve personally produced live cultural events since the late 90s and worked in social media since Facebook was limited to Harvard students. Connecting the physical and the digital is in my DNA. And I've been fortunate to execute deals between the world's biggest artists and brands, bringing together experiential, social, content, and PR.
Outside of business I am an accomplished dancer and performer. I’ve produced pieces for the San Francisco Hip Hop Dance Fest and The Crucible (Oakland’s industrial arts & performance Mecca). I also produce San Francisco events for The Do-Over. Even as a dedicated husband and father of three, you can find me training in dance circles every chance I get.
